The Philadelphia fireworks display for 2018 will take place on July 4th at 9:30 pm. The display will take place at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The fireworks are a rain or shine event. So regardless of the weather, you will be able to take in a great patriotic display.
Party on the Parkway and Wawa Welcome America July 4th Concert
Prior to the July 4th fireworks display, the Benjamin Franklin Parkway will host the Party on the Parkway. This event will run all day leading up to the Wawa Welcome America July 4th concert. The concert will include a free performance from Pitbull. The concert will start at 7:00 pm with the fireworks following at 9:00.
U.S. Army Band “Pershing’s Own” Concert & Fireworks
There will be other opportunities to see fireworks in the Philadelphia area around the 4th of July. On Saturday, June 30 the U.S. Army Band “Pershing’s Own” will be performing a concert followed by a fireworks display over the Delaware River. The concert and fireworks will take place at 101 S. Christopher Columbus Boulevard.
