Updated 2016 Mazda6 now at Maple Shade and Turnersville Mazda! The Mazda6 is New and Better Than Ever!

The first 2016 Mazda6 has just arrived at Turnersville Mazda, and the Mazda owners and fans in the South Jersey & Philadelphia area will be delighted with the updates! While the Mazda6 will have the same great design, the 2016 updates will enhance exterior design, functionality, ride comfort, quietness, and safety.

EXTERIOR DESIGN

The Mazda 6, by most industry experts, is already the most attractive midsize sedan on the market! From the outside the design receives a few additions to accentuate the beauty. Exterior features include a new front grille and signature wing design. These can be combined with new LED headlamps to create a bold and elegant front fascia, plus an enhanced brand expression is created by the available signature wing illumination. Rear LED combination lamps give the back end sharp, new appeal. The new compact shark fin antenna accents the vehicle’s flowing form and stylish looks as well. Also offered are 19-inch aluminum wheel with high-gloss paint which emphasizes the brightness and greater depth of its metallic look. Plus now you can get the stunning design of the Mazda6 in two new colors; Sonic Silver Metallic and Titanium Flash Mica.

DRIVING COMFORT AND PERFORMANCE

For 2016 the Mazda6 development team focused on ways to enrich the enjoyment of the driving experience, including ride comfort, quietness, and performance. Overall build quality has been improved with gaps and seams tightened or eliminated. Materials and insulation have been improved to create a higher-quality interior environment. The amount of noise transmitted into the cabin has been reduced by approximately 10 percent when driving on rough roads and by approximately 25 percent on highways.

Improved front and rear seat structure provides a feeling of comfortable snugness, a good fit and excellent holding characteristics, further enhancing the level of all-round comfort.

SKYACTIV-DRIVE automatic transmission now adopts a Drive Selection, Sport Performance Button which allows drivers to switch drive modes for a more responsive driving experience.

INTERIOR DESIGN

The most noticeable change in the 2016 Mazda6 will be the interior, with a new dashboard, instrument cluster, center stack and console. A freestanding 7″ display is raised from the center of the low dash. It uses the Mazda Connect System paired with a smartphone to make it easier to take advantage of functions, including internet connectivity and access to social networking services.

There is a new Heads-up Active Driving Display that provides information such as vehicle speed, navigation, and other important driving information, such as that from the advanced safety systems, in real time. Also new this year, you’ll find Mazda’s first use of an Electronic Parking Brake.

The 2016 Mazda6 is here at Turnersville Mazda and available for your preview now! So stop by or call us at (856) 875-0200 to schedule a test-drive.

Thanks to emerging safety technologies in Mazda vehicles, our drivers and passengers are safer than ever before. Mazda’s goal is to make use of technology to produce vehicles that both help prevent and reduce damages in the event of a collision.

Mazda’s innovative Advanced Safety Technology, Branded i-Activsense makes use of the latest sensing devices such as milliwave radar and cameras to achieve the goal of assisting the driver and vehicle in recognizing hazards, preventing collisions and minimizing damages should an accident occur.

Unlike most other manufactures Mazda does not restrict it’s safety tech to high line expensive models but offers its innovative safety technologies through out it’s vehicle line up. The results of this were just confirmed with The Mazda3, Mazda3 Hatchback, Mazda6, and Mazda CX-5 all receiving the IIHS Highest Safety Ranking –(Top Safety Pick Plus)

Blind Spot Monitoring

On every vehicle, there are obvious or not so obvious blind spots. On your Mazda, the Blind Spot Monitoring checks those areas; and if it detects an object, it will give the driver a visual alert in the mirrors on the outside of the vehicle. If you activate your turn signal in the same blind spot direction the object is detected, the vehicle will beep to alert the driver.

Adaptive Front-lighting System (AFS

Swivels headlamps up to 15 degrees in the direction you’re steering, revealing more of the corner.

Mazda Radar Cruise Control

With Mazda’s Radar Cruise Control, the system will determine the difference in distance and speed for the vehicle in front of you. As a result, MRCC will automatically adjust your the speed of your vehicle to ensure a safe speed.

Forward Obstruction Warning

With Forward Obstruction Warning (FOW), the system will effectively monitor the speed of the vehicle in front of you. When there is a high risk of collision, your vehicle will issue audible and visual alerts for you to take evasive action. This system is functional between the speeds of 9 and 92 mph.

Rear Cross Traffic Alert

By using radars on the side of the vehicle, the Rear Cross Traffic Alert (CTA) keeps you informed of objects approaching from the side. In the event an object is detected, you will have both audible and visual warnings of the object in the monitored area.

Lane Departure Warning System

The Lane Departure Warning System effectively monitors the lines on the road. If your vehicle predicts you depart from those lanes unintentionally, the vehicle will issue you a warning.

High Beam Control

High Beam Control is an intuitive system that switches your head lamps between high and low beams based on your driving condition.

Smart City Brake Support (SCBS)

Helps prevent or lessen, low-speed impacts. At speeds of 3-18 MPH, SCBS monitors the vehicle in front to assess the possibility of a collisions. If the system detects a high risk of impact, it applies initial braking pressure to deliver faster response should you brake. If you brake, the system de-activates. If you don’t brake, the brakes are applied automatically.

Mazda Puts Safety First -The Mazda3, Mazda6, and Mazda CX-5 Are All Rated IIHS Top Safety Pick Plus!

GREAT NEWS!
The 2015 Mazda3, Mazda6 and Mazda CX5 all earn the Top Safety Pick “Plus+” Rating by the Insurance Institute For Highway Safety and offer the highest levels of occupant crash protection in their class.

Through years of study The Insurance Institute For Highway Safety has found that rarely are vehicles involved in direct head on collisions. Most often drivers manage to swerve and hit another car or tree on the left front 25% of the vehicle.

Unfortunately most vehicles are ill-equipped to absorb this type of impact. The wheel assembly gets pushed in towards the driver and in turn intrudes into the leg area of the cabin and most often deflects the steering column over. The problem here is that the airbag that deploys from the steering wheel is now moved to the right of the driver, allowing the drivers head to hit the dash, windshield or A-pillar of the car.

Mazda has addressed this by sweeping the crumple zones all the way out toward the fender, rather than coming back directly to the struts. This allows the car to absorb the energy of the 25% overly impact, decreasing the likelihood of injuries.

The Small Overlap Frontal Crash test involves running the car at 40 MPH into a barrier on the left 25% of the vehicle. If the wheel assembly is not forced into the drivers space and the crash test dummy hits the airbag, then the car passes the test. So when you see that a car is “Top Safety Pick Plus”, this is the “Plus” part of the test. The Mazda3, Mazda6, and Mazda CX-5 all pass the test and offered the highest levels of occupant crash protection in their class.

MAZDA DRIVE-FOR-GOOD – Continued Local Community Support

Mazda is again collaborating with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®, American Red Cross and the American Heart Association with MAZDA’s”DRIVE FOR GOOD EVENT.” drive-for-good

Mazda will make a charitable donation for each new Mazda vehicle sold this Holiday Season. Last years “DRIVE FOR GOOD” event was wonderful. Mazda had the opportunity to donate over $2,700,000 to charitable institutions like Philadelphia Children’s Hospital,  St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®, American Red Cross and the American Heart Association; touching lives where and when they need it most. Since money is not always the answer, Mazda also donated work time time.

This year Mazda has rolled up it’s sleeves and committed itself to increase the amount donated for each new Mazda by an additional 50%. “We are excited to have increased the donation amount for the 2014 Mazda Drive for Good charity event,” said Jim O’Sullivan, president and CEO, MNAO. “Mazda donated more than $2.7 million last year and while we know the charity partners were appreciative, we always want to do more. However, no Mazda charity event would be complete without rolling up our sleeves and lending a helping hand by donating an hour of charitable service for every test drive.”

The Mazda Drive for Good event will run from November 21, 2014 through January 2, 2015. In addition, Mazda Dealer Marketing Groups around the nation also have the opportunity to select a local charity that enables new Mazda owners to select a charity option closer to home.

Once Again, The Mazda3 Earns the ALG 2014 Highest Residual Value Award!

At Maple Shade and Turnersville Mazda, South Jerseys premier Mazda Dealers. We are excited and proud to share the latest accomplishment of the Mazda3 Sports Sedan and Hatchback!

For the 2nd year in a row the Mazda3 was determined to have the Highest Residual Value in the Compact Car Segment.

This is a true recognition of the value the Mazda3 offer our customers. ALG the industry authority on vehicle values and depreciation acknowledges Mazda’s commitment to Quality, Value and Economy! ALG has Recognized “the Mazda3 as one of the best all-around vehicles in the Compact segment”. It’s earned itself critical acclaim by topping “Best Car” lists and receiving “Car Of The Year “ nods.

Mazda as a brand was also just ranked 3rd among all manufactures in vehicle reliability by Consumer Reports. Vehicle Reliability reflects quality and cost of ownership all of which are key factors in determining future value.

Why Is Residual Value Important?

Residual value is the projected market or resale value of your vehicle at a given time in the future. ALG, the auto industries authority strives to determine this value through careful study of the competition in each segment, historical vehicle performance and industry trends. Vehicle quality, reliability, production levels relative to demand, and pricing and marketing strategies represent key factors that all impact ALG’s residual value forecasts, or resale value, for the vehicle.

The  residual value or projected resale value tells the buyer what they can expect as a future return on their vehicle purchase. For example if you purchased a vehicle for $20,000 with a projected resale value of 50% = $10,000 after 3years and maintained it as scheduled for the 3years then the buyer can expect to be able to sell it for $10000.
